Lecturers and students of the Faculty of Geo-resources and Geotechnical Engineering, Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) have collaborated with the National Authority for Preah Vihear and the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to study the Slope Stability and Tectonic Setting at the World Heritage Site of Preah Vihear Temple.
This study will provide important information such as the evolution of tectonic forces, the structure and history or evolutionary process of the geomorphology in that area, which can help facilitate the management of potential geomorphological disasters in the area, help reduce the impact on the temple, and provide conservation and restoration plans for the temple, as well as provide crucial information for researchers and scholars.
